Egypt: President Fattah urged Sudan rivals to end fighting

On 13 July, BBC reported that Egyptian President Abdul Fattah urged the warring parties in Sudan to cease fighting and consider peaceful negotiations. The summit was attended by Sudan's neighbouring countries, such as South Sudan, Chad, and the Central African Republic. Additionally, he called for the parties to facilitate the passage of humanitarian aid. The rival military factions in Sudan had sent delegations to the summit.
